China Chongqing Global Sourcing Fair is organized by Ministry of Commerce of People's Republic of China and Chongqing. The fair is supported by International Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute, International Enterprise Singapore, Korea Foreign Trade Association, Japan External Trade Organization, China-Britain Business Council, Canada China Business Council, Australia Trade Commission, Italian Institute for Foreign Trade, Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing, China Machinery Industry Federation, Society of Automotive Engineering of China, China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Light Industrial Products and Arts-Crafts, Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, China Instrument Manufacturers Association, China Electrical Equipment Industrial Association, Chinese Association of Refrigeration, China General Chamber of Commerce, China Building Decoration Association, Chinese Society for Electrical Engineering, and etc. The China Chongqing Global Sourcing Fair is a well-known international exposition focusing on trade and investment, which integrated demonstration, on-spot discussion, forums, and investigation.
China Chongqig Global Sourcing Fair has been successfully held for five years since 2003. In every fair, there were more than 300 trans-national corporations, purchase groups, chain organizations, and purchase department of large scale industry from all over the world and over 5000 manufacturing enterprises and agent units enjoyed the fair. The purchase volume had exceeded 6 billion US dollars. According to conservative statistics, through pre-fair match and discussion on the spot, over 900 suppliers had entered purchasers' good delivery system both at home and abroad. The fair provides a platform for purchasers home and abroad to enjoy the inexpensive and excellent food in the rapid developing Chinese market, as well as help suppliers to open up domestic and interantional market.
